Chairman Hadi meets with representatives of DAMEN Shipyards Group
As part of his mission in Europe, the Chairman of DPFZA, Mr Aboubaker Omar Hadi, had a meeting with Mr Ronald Maat, Damen Shipyards' Regional Director for Africa, Mr Friso, Damen Customer Finance, Mr Jan, CCO of Damen Shipyards Group and Mr. Decio, from 'Invest International'.
The President of the Republic, H.E Mr Ismail Omar Guelleh, launched the construction works of Djibouti Ship Repairs yard (DSRY), on November 26th, 2020. This Ship Repair Yard, of 217 m Length Overall, will be operational in June 2023.
The meeting, which was held in Amsterdam, in Netherlands, was attended by the Minister of Economy and Finances, in charge of the Industry, H.E Ilyas Moussa Dawaleh
The Senior Advisor, Mr. Ibrahim Hamadou, the Technical Advisor, Mr. Moumin Ismail Abdillahi and the Director of External Finance of the Ministry of Economy and Finances and Mr. Ali Mohamed Gadileh as well as the Djibouti Ports Harbor Master, Mr. Mohamed Moussa Abar were present during the meeting.
