A DPFZA delegation in Hobyo

 

On Thursday, September 10th, an important delegation from Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority (DPFZA) went to Hobyo, in the region of Galmudug, Somalia.

Led by Mr. Mohamed Aden Waberi, advisor to the DPFZA Chairman this delegation was made up of engineers and maritime pilots.

This visit comes as part of the project of construction of a port in Hobyo.

Thus, the visit began with a tour of the site of the future port of Hobyo. It allows the delegation to gather necessary information for a feasibility study.

Recall that the president of the Galmudug region, HE Mr. Ahmed Abdi Kariye (aka Qoorqoor) came to Djibouti for an official visit of a few days.

During his stay, he had a meeting with the DPFZA Chairman, Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi, during which they mainly discussed this Hobyo port construction project.

Djibouti is proud to share its expertise and experiences in the area of port infrastructure.
