The Ethiopian Customs. will now operate from inside Djibouti free zones

An office opening ceremony took place this morning at DIFTZ Service Center to wish a warm welcome to the Ethiopian Customs.

DPFZA Chairman, Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi, unveiled the curtain of Ethiopian custom office plaque along with Ethiopian custom Djibouti office director

Recalled that Ethiopian customs operate in Djibouti since 1953 inside the port, and today they open the first office in free zone especially In the Djibouti international free Trade zone.

The main objective is to have a single documents in the future.

In DIFTZ, the majority of trade companies are from East Africa region and daily record of 100 trucks gate out.
