The Ports and Free Zones Authority and the Directorate of Customs and Indirect Rights have launched the process of integrating the customs system with the Djibouti Ports Community system (DPCS), thus allowing submission and completion of port formalities and customs through the DPCS platform alone, and contributing to the general government effort to contain the spread of COVID-19, by limiting the physical interactions of supply chain stakeholders. Another important step in the establishment of a benchmark International Maritime Center.
