DSC expands fleet to strengthen regional maritime connectivity
We are pleased to announce that Djibouti Shipping Company (DSC) is expanding its fleet as part of its continued commitment to enhancing regional maritime connectivity.
DSC currently operates the MV/Africa Sun, a 1,118-TEU vessel that has served routes across the Mediterranean and Red Seas for the past five years. The company is now acquiring a second vessel, with a capacity of 1,200 TEUs. This addition will enable DSC to extend its services network to the Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean.
A third vessel, with a capacity of 2,000 TEUs, is already in the pipeline, reinforcing our growth strategy.
With Djibouti’s strategic location and the strength of our teams, DSC is creating a reliable African shipping network that connects regions, supports trade, and boosts regional cooperation.
