President Ismail Omar Guelleh took part in the inauguration of the Center for Innovation and Maritime Excellence (CIME)
The President of the Republic His Excellency Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh took part this Thursday, September 15th, 2022 in the inauguration of the Center for Innovation and Maritime Excellence (CIME), via visio-conference.
The President of the Republic presented his best wishes and encouragements to the new students and welcomed this new perspective for the youth which highlights the importance of the Djibouti-China collaboration.
CIME will contribute to the promotion of private sector innovations with a training and a forum that will serve as a platform for sharing ideas, experiences and strengthening the spirit of leadership and entrepreneurship among youth in Djibouti and countries in the region.
This program will be based in Djibouti and will fully exploit the advantages of Djibouti's strategic location to attract young, skilled and dynamic profiles from different African countries to promote the social and economic growth of Djibouti and its neighboring countries.
The chairman of DPFZA, Mr Aboubaker Omar Hadi, was pleased to share this ceremony with His Excellency Mr. HU Bin Ambassador of China to Djibouti and several members of the government, including Dr. Nabil Mohamed Ahmed, Minister of Higher Education and Research.
