Signing of an MoU on the cooperation on the renewable energy project in Djibouti

A tripartite MoU signing ceremony related to the cooperation on the renewable energy project in Djibouti took place yesterday, Nov 16th, in Djibouti International Tower (DIT), in the presence of the Chairman of DPFZA Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi, Dr. HU Jianhua, President of CMG, and representatives of Windey.

This MoU focuses on providing access to renewable energy and ramping up green energy capacity for Djibouti's Ports and Free Zones in line with the vision 2035 of H.E the President of the Republic to achieve 100% green energy by 2030.

Our partners are not only contractors and investors, they will produce wind power equipment and products for the energy sector in our industrial parks in order to export them also to the continent.

This will support the economy and boost job creation as well as mutual success towards the industrialization and modernization of Djibouti.
