Wrap-up meeting with Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) Hayley Koval

On March 21, the Chairman of the Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority (DPFZA) concluded a wrap-up meeting with Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) Hayley Koval, following her initial visit on Monday, March 18th about physical and cybersecurity compliance.

LCDR Koval commended DPFZA for its steadfast commitment to security and its compliance to physical security and cybersecurity. She offered invaluable insights to further strengthen Port’s protection against any potential threat.

Embracing a spirit of partnership and collaboration, DPFZA stated that it is going to meticulously evaluate and adopt LCDR Koval's observations and recommendations to further consolidate and strengthen the resilience of our Ports.

"We deeply appreciate LCDR Koval and the US Coast Guard delegation's collaborative approach. Their expertise and recommendations are instrumental in increasing security within our Ports.''stated the Chairman of DPFZA.

The chairman added: “I give my team a score of either 0 or 20.”
