1.4 Million Tons of fertilizer for the Ethiopian government
An important meeting was held this today in Addis Ababa, between the Chairman of Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority, Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi and the Ethiopian Minister of transport.
Main topic of discussion: the Setup of a coordination mechanism for the delivery of 1.4 million tons of fertilizer from our ports to Ethiopia.
The Djiboutian delegation included the port harbor Master, the general manager of Doraleh Multipurpose Port, the director general of DPCR (the company in charge of corridors), the general manager of the port of Tadjourah and the general manager of DPCS (the company In charge of the single window system of ports). On The Ethiopian side the minister was accompanied by the director general of the Ethiopian Maritime Affairs Authority (EMAA) General Manager of ESLSE (the logistics and shipping company) and few other collaborators. A monitoring and coordination committee has been set up to ensure that this important product is delivered on time.
It should also be noted the presence in the meeting of our ambassador in Addis Ababa.
