The Administrative Director participates in the Djibouti-Turkey forum for Investment and Business.

DPFZA represented by its Administrative Director, Mr. Mohamed Aden Cheick participated in the Djibouti-Turkey forum for Investment and Business, which took place on January, in Istanbul. The Djiboutian delegation was led by the Minister of Economy and Finance, H.E Ilyas Dawaleh, in the presence of the Djiboutian Ambassador to Turkey, H.E Aden Houssein.  

On the sidelines of this forum, the delegation participated in different meetings. The first meeting was with the Heads of Albaraka Garaj, which is the world's first start-up in the field of participation banking. Opportunities provided to the entrepreneurs, such as the acceleration in technology-based products or services, such as Fintech to SaaS, regulation technologies, health technologies etc..., were presented as well as their important role in Islamic Financing to the entrepreneur. Some of the companies that deal with this service are couple of Turkish companies established in DIFTZ. The second meeting took place at the UNTB for LDCs.

During which he explained the important role this entity plays for the LDC. The Djiboutian delegation had also other individual meetings with WorqCompany, SDG Investments and DEİK Skyland. 

 
During the Djibouti-Turkey forum, DPFZA did a presentation to the Turkish private/public companies on the available business opportunities in Djibouti, followed by B2B meetings.
