The arrival of a Saudi delegation in Djibouti

On June 3th, the Chairman of DPFZA-GHIH had the honor of welcoming His Excellency Mr. Hassan Al-Huwaizi, Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and his esteemed delegation of businessmen. Accompanying them were His Excellency Mr. Faisal Ben Sultan Al Qabbani, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Djibouti, and His Excellency Mr. Diya-Eddine Said Bamakhrama, Ambassador of Djibouti to Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi guided the delegation through the cutting-edge infrastructure of our country, starting with the Djibouti International Free Trade Zone (DIFTZ).  Spanning 48 square kilometers, DIFTZ features four industrial clusters: Trade and Logistics, Export Processing, Business and Financial Support Services, and Manufacturing and Duty-Free Retail. DIFTZ focuses on light industries and will soon begin assembling trucks and solar panels, alongside the ongoing production of medical equipment and hydroponics.

With over 800 companies operating within our four free zones, DIFTZ leverages the sea-air cargo model to offer businesses a strategic advantage. Djibouti’s prime geolocation ensures efficient transportation and maximized profits for companies in DIFTZ.
