Chairman Hadi visits the multi-mission Languedoc vessel.

On Tuesday November 20th,2023,  DPFZA Chairman, Mr Aboubaker Omar Hadi, visited the French army frigate, the multi-mission Languedoc vessel. The visit took place upon the invitation of Air Force General Laurent Boite. The frigate's Commandant, Christine Ribbe, hosted the event. The distinguished guests included H.E Mrs.Dana Purcarescu, Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Republic of Djibouti , and Deputy Chief of Staff of Djiboutian Armed Forces,General Taher Ali Mohamed.

During the visit, Chairman Aboubaker highlighted the critical importance of securing the Bab el Mandeb strait. He emphasized its pivotal role in international trade, particularly for maritime routes through the Suez Canal and the Indian Ocean, and the necessity of maintaining security in the Bab el Mandeb area, vital for the uninterrupted flow of global maritime commerce.  The multi-mission Languedoc has been refueled by bunker vessel of Red Sea Bunkering  .
