DPFZA Chairman Hosts Signing of Maritime Education Agreement

The chairman received at Escale International Hotel Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport for a signing ceremony of a memorandum of agreement. H.E Ahmed Ali Barreh Ambassador of Djibouti in Egypt was present as a witness.

This Memorandum of Agreement aims to establish the Red Sea Regional Education and Training Maritime Center, dedicated to advancing maritime education throughout East Africa and beyond.

The Arab League has approved the establishment of an Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport in Djibouti for East Africa students and beyond.

There are 54 officers who graduated from the Arab Academy till today. The last graduates from the Arab Academy were 22 all female officers.
