Great Horn Investment Holding Hosts Delegation from African Terminal Logistics Services
On Monday, June 23rd, the Chairman of Great Horn Investment Holding received a delegation from African Terminal Logistic Services (ATLS) led by Shawqi ahmed, the project director of ATLS, a sister company of Golden Africa, owned by Pacific Inter Link Sdn Bhd, which is part of the Hayel Saeed Anam (HSA) Group.
During their visit, the delegation visited the state-of-the-art Djibouti Damerjog Industrial Park (DDIP) tailored for the petrochemical among other activities related to heavy industry.
ATLS expressed interest in establishing a petroleum storage facility within the Djibouti Damerjog Industrial Park (DDIP) .
They plan to establish a petroleum storage of 750,000 cubic meters of ultimate static capacity and aim to handle approximately 70 vessels annually at initial stage.
The company ATLS is studying the feasibility to set up the storage facility either at Damerjog or in Doraleh Multipurpose Port.
The delegation highlighted DDIP’s unique competitive advantages, which make it an ideal location for this project. These include the availability of an enhanced oil jetty, sufficient land resources for immediate development and future expansion, and zoning compatibility within an area designated specifically for petroleum storage.
