DPFZA Chairman Receives Mayor of Bollnas, Sweden

The Chairman received at Red Sea World the Mayor of the Municipality of Bollnäs, Kingdom of Sweden.

Bollnäs in Sweden is administratively composed of 92 municipalities and 21 cities. The discussions focused on exploring opportunities to establish investment partnerships with Sweden, particularly in sectors aligned with Djibouti’s strategic development priorities.

During the meeting, Chairman encouraged increased Swedish investment, highlighting successful precedents such as the Dutch investment of more than 150 million euros in the Red Sea Power project and the floating dock initiative, which demonstrate Djibouti’s attractiveness and reliability as an investment destination.
