DPFZA Provides Assistance to Survivors of M/V MINERVAGRACHT

Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority reports that on Tuesday, September 30, we provided assistance to survivors from the attacked vessel M/V MINERVAGRACHT, sailing under the Dutch flag.

The vessel’s last port of call was Durban, before calling at the Doraleh Multipurpose Port (DMP). Its next scheduled destination was Jebel Ali.

The M/V MINERVAGRACHT was carrying 1,077.81 metric tonnes of general cargo, including vehicles, trailers, and containers. The vessel sank in the golf of Aden with no human fatalities.

This incident highlights Djibouti’s critical role in ensuring maritime safety and assistance at sea along the world’s busiest shipping routes.
