Mr. Hadi receives a French Delegation led by H. E Mrs. Dana Purcarescu, Ambassador of France to the Republic of Djibouti
On March 7th, the Chairman of Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority, Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi, received at Red Sea World, a French Delegation led by
H. E Mrs. Dana Purcarescu, Ambassador of France to the Republic of Djibouti, and Mr. William Roos, Head of Multilateral Affairs and Development at the General Directorate of the Treasury, and Co-chair of the Paris Club.
Also present at this meeting were Mr. Arthur Bauer, Head of the Direct Financing Office, Jérôme Baconin, Head of the Regional Economic Service for East Africa and the Indian Ocean, Julien Defrance, Head of the Economic Service for Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Eritrea,
Representatives of ADPi and EGIS, and a Representative from the Directorate of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe.
Discussions primarily focused on the construction of the Biidley International Airport that will annually serve half a million passengers and 100 tons of air cargo.
Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority already serves 24 cities in 21 countries with the Sea-Air multimodal chain.
It is noteworthy that this project stems from the meeting between the President of Djibouti His Excellency Ismail Omar Guelleh and his French counterpart, His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, in February 2021.
