Djibouti has secured $155 million in strategic financing to fund infrastructure and development projects in the Damerjog Industrial Development Free Trade Zone.

the official platform for obtaining Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) certificates for shipments to Djibouti.

DPFZA Chairman, Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi, was pleased to receive, at DIT, the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Djibouti,  H.E. Mr. Cenk Uraz.

Discussions focused on the development of commercial and trade relationships. 

Were also evoked topics such as Djibouti's geostrategic location and its potential as well as the currency stability to attract more Turkish business community to the dedicated area,  called the Turkish zone in DIFTZ, to showcase for their products destinated to Djibouti and beyond.

A gifting ceremony took place on february 9th ,2023 at the 'Pouponnière DARYEL'.

The China Merchants Group offered a 14 seat minibus with the aim of facilitating the mobility of the children of the Daryel Nursery.

Daryel is an orphanage that is under the aegis of.

The participants then visited the children and gave them gifts and toys.

Among the many dignitaries  taking part in this ceremony were the Minister of Social Affairs and Solidarity.

A delegation of Djibouti Ports community visited the ports of Bremen and Bremerhaeven. 

Among the objectives of the visit was to initiate a cooperation in port development and logistics. 

The visit organized by H.E Amb. Yacin Houssein, also included visit with BLG  logistics, the Container-Terminals MSC Gate, Eurogate and North Sea Terminal (NTB), GVZ Intermodal Distribution Zones and the Chamber of Commerce (Handelskammer Bremen).
