Aboubaker Omar Hadi , Chairman of the Djibouti Ports & Free Zones Authority
,welcomed H.E.M. Alemu Semie, Minister of Transport and Logistics of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
As part of his first official visit to Djibouti, the Minister and his delegation were received at the Djibouti International Exhibition Center.
DPFZA Chairman, Mr Aboubaker Omar Hadi was pleased to receive on february 25th ,2023, the Japanese Ambassador to Djibouti, H.E M Otsuka Umio, accompanied by Mr. Junichiro Ikeda, President of ‘The Japanese Shipowners’ Association’ and also Chairman of Mitsui O.S.K. Line.
The delegation was composed of Executives and Managers of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Japan Shipping Companies, All Japan Seamen’s Union, and International Mariners Management Association of Japan (IMMAJ).
The DPFZA presentation andall its projects were shared with the delegation.
DPFZA Chairman, Mr.Aboubaker Omar Hadi received yesterday, at the Djibouti International Tower, the Ambassador of Japan to Djibouti, H.E.M. Otsuka UMIO, accompagnied by Director General of Japan External Trade Organization(JETRO)-Djibouti, Mr. Yasuhiro Nakayama.
JETRO is the Japanese agency responsible for promoting foreign trade. This agency informs Japanese companies about investment opportunities abroad.
DPFZA Chairman, Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi was pleased to welcome, in Djibouti Damerjog Industrial Park, the CEO of BRED Group, Mr. Olivier Klein accompanied by an important delegation from BRED and BCIMR.
The Djiboutian Minister of Infrastructures and Equipments, H.E.M. Hassan Houmed Ibrahim, and the DPFZA Chairman, Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi received at the DIT, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Djibouti, H.E.M. Faisal Bin Sultan Al-Qabbani.
