Port of Tadjourah to Facilitate Coal Imports for Ethiopia
This morning, the Chairman received at Red Sea World the Ethiopian Ambassador to Djibouti, H.E. Mr. Berhano Tsegaye.
Discussions focused on the optimization of the transport of goods destined for Ethiopian consumers, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics.
The import of coal destined for Ethiopia will now also be carried out via the port of Tadjourah, in order to streamline operations and improve logistical efficiency.
It has been discussed and agreed that toll roads are going to be applied according to the COMESA tariffs.
The rehabilitation of the RN1 by the DPCR is making significant progress, Tadjourah-Balho corridor is well, and Djibouti-Galileh has been upgraded.
It was also noted that a ministerial committee meeting will be held soon, during which strategic points will be discussed.
