H.E Mr. Hassan Houmad Ahmed, the Djiboutian Minister of Infrastructure and Equipment, and Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi, the Chairman of Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority, had a meeting at Djibouti International Tower with an important delegation of MEDEF International, by Her Excellency Mrs. Dana PURCARESCU, the French Ambassador to the Republic of Djibouti, and Mr. Philippe LABONNE, Vice-Chairman of the Africa Committee of MEDEF International.
A comprehensive presentation showcased the monumental projects undertaken by DPFZA, setting the stage for discussions on strategies to allure French SMEs. The Djibouti-Ethiopia railway and the Al Hadji Hassan Gouled Aptidon project were key focal points during the meeting.
The French delegation commended Djibouti's commendable strides in logistics and maritime infrastructures over the past two decades. Acknowledging these accomplishments, MEDEF International, a non-profit organization founded in 1989 by MEDEF, the French Business Confederation, expressed admiration for Djibouti's prowess.
