Aboubaker Omar Hadi, Board member of the Ethiopian Djibouti Railway and major stakeholder, and as Chairman of ports and free zones authority, received a high-level Chinese delegation led by His Excellency Mr. HU Bin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Djibouti, and His Excellency Mr.
On February 9th, the Chairman received a courtesy visit from Her Excellency Mrs. Cynthia Kierscht, the Ambassador of the United States to Djibouti, at Red Sea World.
On February 2nd, the Chairman received this morning at Red Sea World, a delegation from Jeddah Islamic Port, led by the Ambassador of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Faisal Ben Sultan Al Qabbani. The delegation is interested in investing in maritime infrastructures.
As part of their ongoing visit to Djibouti, the Saudi delegation from Jeddah Islamic Port conducted, on February 6, an extensive tour of our key infrastructures.
On 6th February, the Chairman received the U.S. Coast Guard delegation to the Djibouti International Free Trade Zone (DIFTZ) for a wrap-up meeting. The delegation commended the significant progress made in enhancing port security and provided additional recommendations to ensure full alignment with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.
