  • Chairman Receives A EUNAVFOR ASPIDES Delegation at Red Sea World

    The Chairman received at Red Sea World a delegation of ASPIDES/EUNAVFOR, led by Commodore Michail Lampiris (EL-N), EUNAVFOR ASPIDES Force Commander.

    The discussions focused on a shared priority: ensuring the continued freedom of navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, in a context marked by growing regional and international maritime challenges such as the resurgence of piracy activities.

  • Chairman Attends Inauguration of Two New Tugboats at the old Port of Djibouti

    The Chairman attended the inauguration ceremony of the tugboats Farah Hassan Ragueh and Saad Warsama Dirieh, held at Berth 1 of the old port. The ceremony took place in the presence of two distinguished families, descendants of the late individuals whose names were chosen to designate these two new tugboats, each with a power capacity of 6,800 horsepower, TBP 68.

    The 2nd Djibouti Medical Congress took place this morning at the Kempinski Hotel, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic of Djibouti, H.E. Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh and the First Lady, Mrs. Khadra Mohamoud Haid.

  • ⁠Chairman Receives the Saudi Business Council Delegation at Red Sea World

    Within the framework of the 7th Session of the Djibouti–Saudi Joint Commission, the Chairman received at Red Sea World a Saudi delegation led by Dr. Abdulkarim A. Albaz, Chairman of the Saudi Business Council.

    The delegation visited the Saudi Logistics Zone leased area of 120,000 square meters in Djibouti International Free Trade Zone. In the long term, this zone is expected to contribute significantly to the development of a regional logistics hub linking East Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.

  • Chairman Participates in the 7th Djibouti–Saudi Arabia Joint Commission Session

    The Chairman participated in the 7th session of the Djibouti–Saudi Arabia Joint Commission, held from 7 to 9 December.

    During his address, chairman informed the audience that Tadjourah Port concession for 30 years to Red Sea Gateway Terminal has been signed on the 22nd of October 2025 in Jeddah and the implementation of the agreement is in process.
