Saudia Airlines plans 4 flights per week between Djibouti and Djeddah

The Djiboutian Minister of Infrastructures and Equipments, H.E.M. Hassan Houmed Ibrahim, and the DPFZA Chairman, Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi received at the DIT, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Djibouti, H.E.M. Faisal Bin Sultan Al-Qabbani.

The Ambassador was leading an important delegation from Saudia Airlines.Including, the Director of Saudia Airlines in East Africa, Mr Mazen Mohammed Labban, who expressed his company's desire to begin direct flight between Djibouti and Djeddah.

Saudia Airlines intends to have a partnership with the National Airline « Air Djibouti », for scheduling 4 flights per week. This will hugely reduce the duration time from 8hours to 1h30.

As the first flight is expected to start on May, 28th 2023, this is an excellent opportunity, mainly for this year's Hajj and Umrah.
